FLRA Announces Training on “Management Rights in Arbitration: The CFPB Test”

 

The Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA) is pleased to announce that it will be providing a
virtual training session to explain, and discuss the application of, the Authority’s framework for
resolving management-rights exceptions to arbitration awards that find violations of collective bargaining agreements. That test was established in Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, 73 FLRA 670 (2023).

This virtual training event is sponsored by the FLRA’s Office of the General Counsel as part of
its “Training Tuesdays” series, and will be presented by the three Chief Counsels to the FLRA
Members on Tuesday, July 23, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time. To register,
