SFLERP will consider nominations for the following categories:

Most improved relationship. The parties had a recognized uncooperative relationship and have taken steps to improve the labor-management relationship, yielding demonstrable results.

A sustained level of cooperative relations. The parties: (a) have a history of successful problem resolution, with or without third-party assistance, as evidenced by low arbitration rates or grievances going to the final steps; and (b) have successfully resolved midterm and term negotiations, as evidenced by the minimal requests for FSIP assistance.

The most innovative labor-management relationship. Although the parties have a “normal” labor-management relationship, they utilize several innovative dispute-resolution techniques (e.g., grievance mediation, interest-based negotiations and problem-solving, and labor management committees).

The deadline is Friday, January 3, 2025. Nominations may be scanned as PDFs and emailed to info@sflerp.org.
