SFLERP Members Elect New Board of Directors and Officers

Domenic Murgo Elected President (Management)

Society members voted in September for the Board of Directors, electing Domenic Murgo for President (Management), Ashby Crowder for First Vice-President (Labor) and Arbitrator Keith Greenberg for Second-Vice-President (Neutral).  The officer’s position rotate every two years among the member constituencies.  This completes Arbitrator Michael Fischetti’s two-year term as President (Neutral).  We thank Mike for his many years of service to SFLERP!

For the at-large positions on the Board, the members elected Donald J. Musacchio for Board member (Management), Peyton Diotalevi for Board member (Labor), and Sean J. Rogers for Board member (Neutral).  The Society thanks Michael Stein and Arbitrator Gary Kloepfer for volunteering to run for the Board.  We also express our appreciation to Sue Whitney who decided not to run again.  She has served SFLERP for over 30 years as a Board member and as President between 2009 and 2011.

Ashby Crowder is President of AFGE Local 2578 and a regional vice president of the Council of National Archives and Records Administration Locals. He has served as President of SFLERP Washington DC Chapter for several years and as a Member of the Board of Directors of SFLERP National since December 2018.

Peyton Lawrimore Diotalevi is a labor attorney who has spent the last eleven years of her career with the National Treasury Employees Union.  She is currently an Assistant Counsel in NTEU’s D.C. Field Office, where she serves as the national field representative for five NTEU chapters in the D.C. metro area and Philadelphia.  She graduated from American University’s Washington College of Law.  Peyton serves on the SFLERP Board since 2019.

Keith Greenberg is an arbitrator and mediator of private, public, and federal sector labor and employment disputes.  He is a member of the National Academy of Arbitrators.  Keith currently serves as a member of SFLERP’s Board of Directors.  He previously served as President of the D.C. Chapter of SFLERP, and as Co-Chair of the D.C. Bar’s Labor and Employment Law Community.  A graduate of the Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations and of the University of Michigan Law School, Keith enjoys promoting SFLERP’s tripartite focus on federal sector labor and employee relations issues.

Domenic Murgo received his master’s degree in Labor Relations and Human Resources from the University of Rhode Island.  He currently serves on the SFLERP Board of Directors as First Vice President and is a regular presenter at the SFLERP Annual Symposium and the Federal Dispute Resolution Conference.  Mr. Murgo has served on the SFLERP National Board of Directors for the past 6 years and has previously served as the SFLERP Washington DC Chapter President. Mr. Murgo is currently employed as a Labor Relations Specialist at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau where he serves as the Bureau’s Deputy Chief Negotiator for collective bargaining.

Donald J. Musacchio retired from a notable 36-year federal career. He last served as the Assistant Deputy Administrator for Management of the USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service.  He is a founding member and former Vice-Chair of the Interagency Labor Relations Forum, a group devoted to focusing on labor and employee relations advocacy and professional development from a management perspective. Mr. Musacchio received his B.S. and M.S. from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.

Sean J. Rogers is an attorney specializing in labor and employment law for more than 45 years. His practice is exclusively as arbitrator and mediator. He is a member of the National Academy of Arbitrators and the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals as well as Past-President, Vice President and Treasurer of the SFLERP DC Chapter.  He was awarded an AB in English and Psychology from Georgetown University in ‘70; an MS in Police Science from American University in ‘76; and his JD from Georgetown University Law Center in ‘77.
